Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to read about, buy and use these books, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification, or other assistive technology.
Our standard
This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Where it is practical, we also follow the newer WCAG 2.2 criteria.
What we have done
- The pages are built to work with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a "Skip to content" link.
- Text is checked against AA color contrast on the backgrounds it appears on.
- Images have text alternatives. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- The six sample pages in "Look inside" are also available as text, with headings, lists and tables: sample pages as text.
- The pages fit a 320-pixel-wide screen without sideways page scrolling. That is the width WCAG uses for 400% zoom on a 1280-pixel window.
- Animation is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Questions and book details open and close with standard controls that screen readers announce.
How we tested
On October 27, 2026 we ran axe-core 4.10.2 (WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2, levels A and AA) on the main page, the page-preview window, the sample text page, this page, the terms page and the "page not found" page, with no violations. We also checked text contrast, a 319-pixel-wide window, increased text spacing, and keyboard focus in the page gallery, in a desktop browser's mobile view.
Not yet tested: screen readers on real devices (VoiceOver, NVDA), browser zoom at 200% and 400% on a desktop, and Windows high-contrast (forced colors) mode.
Known limitations
- The books are PDF files. If a PDF does not work well with your assistive technology, contact us and we will help you get the content in a format that works for you.
- The 30-Day Trading Discipline Journal is a Google Sheets file and depends on Google's own accessibility features.
- Checkout is handled by our payment provider on its own site.
